Minnow - With Box

I just received my “minnow” package and fly box. Haven’t used them yet but they look great and the box is top notch as well. Looking forward to using them on my trip this summer doing half the John Muir Trail.

I invited my stepdad to come out from Vermont in May to fish the Taylor with me and my buddies. We have fished twice before but my dad has never been out here to fish. I ordered a box to match the hatch for him. He was so excited when he got it. He did not know it was from me and so there was some confusion on whether the package had arrived or not. He thought it was a bonus from Trout Unlimited but he also thought that the gift seems to lavish to be from them! He later realized that it was a late Christmas present from me to him. He could not be more happy, he said the package was very nice! Thanks again for your expertise, someday I hope to fish with you and learn a few more tricks!

I haven't actually been able to try any flies yet, as we are going up in s couple days, but Peter took the time to call me and inform me of a better deal for the same price. I think this is a great service, and I intend to buy more in the future.

I received a wonderfully crafted set of flies. It is clear that the craftsmanship is first rate. The case which was included, I should mention, was a cut above what I expected- double-sided, waterproof, easy-open clasps and individually-cut slots for the flies. My only gripe was that as the beginner, it would have been nice to understand //what// it was that I received. A sheet saying, "Here's what we've included" would be just what the doctor ordered.
