Although the Muddler Minnow pattern is more than 75 years old, there is a reason that it has persisted to this day: it catches a lot of fish! This Generalist minnow imitation is close in size and color to a number of baitfish species and can be admirably used to imitate fathead minnows, suckers, panfish, trout, or sculpin. These streamers will earn a place of honor in your fly box, and will surely still be catching fish in another 75 years.
