Mosquito Dry Fly
Capable of reproducing in any pond, backwater, or puddle, these little blood suckers will be found in every state and at every elevation. While mosquitoes can quite literally be a pain to the fly angler, they remain a trout favorite. In a pinch, this traditionally tied dry mosquito pattern can also be used to effectively match both the blue quill and callibaetis mayfly hatch, earning it a place of prominence in your fly box.
