Mother's Day Caddis
One of the most eagerly anticipated spring hatches by both the trout and fly fisher alike, the Mother's Day Caddis hatch is the dry fly event of the year on many of the country's most famous trout rivers and streams! Unique among caddis patterns, the Mother's Day Caddis incorporates a green glass bead to the end of the abdomen to imitate the egg cluster of the spawning adult. Like the lights lining a runway, these little beads mark the path for feeding trout as they prepare to launch!
