Dahlberg Diver

If the Dahlberg Diver looks freaked out, it is because it knows it is about to get eaten! Large trout, bass, pike, and muskie love to crush this popper-type top water pattern as it splashes and kicks across the surface of the water! The feathers and rubber legs of this pattern stream and bounce as it is retrieved in a seductive "come hither"-like wave, while the weed-guard keeps the hook free as it is fished through weeds and brush.

For the best action, this pattern should be fished with a floating line, a short leader of heavy test (4' of 20lb test), and jerkily stripped through the surface of the water.
