The tiny moving water mayfly family of Tricorythodes (or more commonly known as Tricos), make up what for what they lack in size (generally sizes 18-22) with their almost plague-like numbers. Whether you are looking to fish the freshly emerged dun or the pre-spawn spinner, the Parachute Trico is a killer imitation that has fooled more fish than we can count!

Black parachute tricos
These little flies worked well on Upper Bear Creek with the 10 to 12 inch Browns. They float well on the surface and are visible in the glare on the ripples.
