Caddis Flies
Similar to a land born moth or butterfly, the caddis fly life-cycle follows the path from larva, pupa, to adult. Active both in and on top of the water, caddis flies are found in both lakes and rivers. The caddis larva can be identified by the presence of legs, while the adult stands with their two pairs of hair covered wings which are held like a A-frame tent over their backs.
