Blue Dun CDC Comparadun
The Blue Dun is a common name that has been applied to a number of spring and summer emerging mayfly species, including the Black Quills, Blue Quills, Hendricksons, and Ginger Quills. Similar to the fabled Parachute Adams in its ability to match multiple hatches, the Blue Dun CDC Comparadun can even be used to match the Callibaetis mayflies and Blue Winged Olives in a pinch. The Blue Dun CDC Comparadun is one of the most versatile dry patterns in the angler's arsenal and deserves a place of honor in every mayfly box!
