Sofa Pillow

Among the largest dry flies in the angler's arsenal, the Sofa Pillow ca be used to match the adult life stage of several stonefly species. The species that this pattern most closely represents is the Giant Salmonfly, which inhabits many Western Rivers. About the size of a grown man's pinky finger, the Salmonfly usually emerges between late May and mid-June. The Sofa Pillow is almost spot on for size and color when compared to the natural, and is a dynamite pattern when fishing this hatch!
