Walt's Small Slider
Tied with a backwards popper head and a sharp nose, the Walt’s Small Slider is a different animal with some unique dance moves that makes it a killer fly pattern when targeting bass, panfish, and trout feeding beneath the surface of the water. While its balsa wood body wants to keep this fly on the surface, its sharp profile causes it to duck and dive just under the surface of the water as it is retrieved while the fly’s rubber legs and tails kick and stream behind it. Walt’s Small Slider is tied to a size 6 hook and is ideal for when seducing selective bass, trout, or panfish of any size.
