Walt's Large Slider
Tied with a backwards popper head and a sharp nose, the Walt’s Large Slider is a different animal with some unique dance moves that makes it a killer fly pattern when targeting bass, monster panfish, pike, and trout feeding beneath the surface of the water. While its balsa wood body wants to keep this fly on the surface, its sharp profile causes it to duck and dive just under the surface of the water as it is retrieved while the fly’s feather tails kick and stream behind it. Walt’s Large Slider is tied to a size 2 hook and for the angler targeting BIG bass, pike, and trout!
