Parachute White Miller
White Drakes, White Flies, or White Millers, whatever the name they might go by in your neck of the woods, the importance of the Ephoron family to both trout and the fly fisher stretches from the Midwest to the East Coast. Typically emerging from mid-July through early August, the emerging duns are hardly off the water before they begin spawning and dancing over the water as trout rise to meet them! In addition to being a proven pattern for the Ephoron family of mayflies, the White Miller is also an effective crossover pattern equally effective in matching any number of land-based moths.
