The nymph life cycle of the Pale Morning Dun is actively preyed upon by trout in both Eastern and Western rivers. Known to take multiple "practice runs" between the bottom of the river and the surface before committing to emergence, trout will feed aggressively on this family during its several-month-long hatch. The Goldbead Poxyback PMD is an ultra realistic True-Fly pattern that has been specifically tied to give the fly angler the edge in the time running up to and during the PMD hatch.
