Tungsten Jig Pat's Rubber Leg
While to the untrained eye, the Tungsten Jig Pat's Rubber Legs (regionally also known as “The Pickle” or “Cat Poop”) look to the angler like little more than a pipe cleaner with legs, but to the trout it looks like a big juicy steak floating down the river! Used as a solid nymph imitation covering a host of stonefly species, the rubber legs flail and jump like those of a displaced nymph trying to get back down to the riverbed while the tungsten beadhead and jig style hook help it to get down deep and skip along the bottom of the river!
