Bugs & Brews - Match The Hatch Class

Posted by David Adams on 10th Jul 2024

Took this class as a review/repeat of my original visit 5ish years ago. Can't say enough about the insight you will gain about the dietary disposition of trout and the way to determine what they are most likely feeding on in a given time span. 5 Stars!

Great concept for a flyfishing class! Peter Stitcher is one of the most knowledgeable instructors I have ever had. Well worth the time and money invested to attend this class.

Well worth the money. Peter packs a lot of information into an engaging and fun presentation. It’s helped me to understand not just what fly to choose, but why.

Great Bugs & Brews Seminar on 05/24/2022!

Posted by Paul Villamaria on 25th May 2022

Peter's light-hearted presentation style and depth of knowledge made this seminar not only a lot of fun but very, very informative to an intermediate level fly fisher-person like myself. He follows through on what he attests to and that is being a "resource" for all things related to flyfishing, the habitat and the community.

Go to a Bugs and Brew session with Peter.

Do yourself a favor and go to one of Peter's Bugs and Brew classes. Well worth it. You learn a lot with like minded anglers, have fun and get to sip a brew or soda. Not a boring class with terms, you can't pronounce or even remember. Lots of tips and tools to help you on the water.

    Great Class!

Lots of great information on matching the hatch, plus some nice flies to add to your collection! It was definitely worth paying the extra $3 for the class notes to refer to in the future. Thanks for the great class!

    Best introduction to entomology

Posted by Marie Chantale on 23rd Oct 2019

I highly recommend this course. It happens in a brewery so you can drink (one drink is included) and there is also a food truck you can buy froid from. Hence as you drink and eat, you listen to a very interesting presentation (beats university any day). The presentation covers the type of insects that are important to Fly fishing, their characteristic, life cycle and what fly « mimics » what. It is super fun and on top of that you get 10 flies. Trust me and go :))
