The evolution of the San Juan Worm, the Rock Worm is a vibrantly colored, chewy, segmented worm pattern that has proven the demise of many a hungry trout! There are a number of worm species (both aquatic and terrestrial) that fish will actively pursue when given the chance. Worm patterns are particularly effective after rain storms or runoff when high flows kick the naturals off the bottom and make them available to feeding trout. First made famous as a consistent produce on the Grey's Reef and Miracle Mile sections of the North Platte River in Wyoming, the appeal of the Rock Worm has proven too much to resist for trout across the country.
