Back when Ascent Fly Fishing was just an idea, Aquatic Biologist and Fly Fishing Fanatic Peter Stitcher started his career assessing, designing, restoring, and managing trophy trout fisheries across the Western United States.  In 2010, Peter left the Pacific Northwest in order to work in the management and restoration of many of the premier private fisheries of Colorado’s Aspen Valley.  To this day, the transformation of mundane waters into Legacy Gold Medal fisheries remains one of his core passions!  Joined by a multidisciplinary team of engineers, ecologists, biologists, permit specialists, and earth movers, Peter and his team have been responsible for the restoration and enhancement of trophy fishing waters across the Rocky Mountains.
