Lunker - With Box

I was in a slump on my favorite river and not catching much so I decided to try the lunker box. I watched the video and the first fly I tried I was catching trout. I used two more flies with more success and the purple haze was catching fish almost every cast until it got broke off. The flies, the organization of the fly box and video were game changers. I left it to the experts and they delivered an excellent selection of high quality flies. This was delivered quickly and I had no complaints about their choices, it was a huge time saver and at 1/3 the price of some of their competitors in "hand picked flies." I plan on purchasing again, next time to go a little deeper on my fly collection.

I had the fly geeks pick a selection of flies for an upcoming backpacking trip into Rocky Mountain National Park. They came organized in a quality fly box a few days later. While I didn't know the names of all the choices that were made, I did recognize a few of the standards. I studied the selections and was prepared for the 2 day hike. On site, I ran a two fly rig with a stone up top and a smaller mayfly on the bottom. Worked a charm. Next site was a high mountain lake and started with dries that looked a bit like the ones flying around. After figuring out how to not spook the fish within my capabilities, the dries worked a charm landing plenty of Brook trout and a couple of Greenback Cutthroat. Truthfully got a little bored with dries and switched to streamers and landed fewer but larger Brook trout. Fly selection was awesome. Flies held up well to multiple fish. The only flies I lost were due to trees or break offs. There were a lot of flies that I didn't have the opportunity to fish but will serve well in other locations. Overall, really happy with the purchase!

Great selection! Covers entire bug life cycle, can’t wait to get on the water

This box is awesome, it had every fly I needed for my waters and all tired in great fashion.

Flies look great. I cannot wait to use them on my Gunnison trip in April
