Trophy - With Box

I am absolutely thrilled with the flies I received. They are tied beautifully and have a very effective assortment to dial in the fish each and every day. The box is also or really great quality, that was a big surprise. The only gripe it that the glue tends to crown the eye requiring a little TLC when rigging. Other than that tiny, minuscule criticism (which you can’t leave review without at least one point to grow on) I was absolutely blown away. Highly recommend Ascent for all your fly needs.

I’ve known about Ascent for a while now and always was afraid to order because of concerns about the viability of every fly in the box and the quality of the flies. It seemed gimmicky to me. I’ve fished the Gunnison Valley for years - and don’t have time this year or the desire to go to the fly shops and deal with all that noise. I want to fish and that’s it. As soon as I opened my Trophy Box I knew it was a winner. The only issue I have now is that I should of ordered double. I think Charlie picked my bugs, and clearly there was some thought and care that went into my box. All I can say is congrats to the company and ownership - and keep it up! You’ve got a repeat customer.

I ordered this box after attending a fly fishing class at the fly fishing expo in January of 2020, I am amazed at how the box was put together. I can’t wait until spring so I can put them into action!
