Nice box of flies.

The team at Ascent helped me get exactly what I needed. Helped my me get organized and educated me on a few things. I went out the next day and had success with the first fly I tied on.

I lost my fly box and had little time to get some before I headed to Shenandoah to target some native brookies. It got here in no time at all and every fly I used had bites. I had to switch to the smallest one since we were way up a tiny creek hiking most of the time but every fly had fish trying to get hooked. Great gift or way to start out or in my case a good way to quickly replace lost flies.

I'm new to fly fishing and I'm not knowledgeable enough yet to choose my own flies. My brother told about Ascent, so I checked out the website. I noticed a banner giving you option of having a biologist pick out your flies. That sounded like a pretty good idea so I answered a few questions and placed the order. It arrived quickly, so my son and I headed to the local pond to try them out. We caught fish immediately! We've also caught every species we listed on the questionnaire! The flies are excellent, come in a nice box and you can't beat the price and customer service. I don't care if you're a beginner like I am, or an experienced angler, I can't imagine there's a better way to buy flies!

Needed a few extra flies to top off my box. Contacted ascent and Peter took care of it. Great selection, was ready within 24hours, and I caught fish with his recommendations. Won’t go anywhere else for my fly fishing needs.

Great box. I was catching smallies and pan fish out of the Tennessee river. I caught a small mouth on my second cast using the water bug. It is a great deal for the price. Might get another for a retirement gift for my boss.

Peter called me after I had placed my order and told me he thought that the Search and Destroy box would be a better fit for what I described in my order. I ended up with twice as many flies which have already hooked me up to fish. Great customer service, I will buy from Ascent again in the near future.
