Reliable floatant
I've added this foatant to my dry flies as well as the "Fire Bead Ray Charles" which is designed to sink but I've found that some floatant can keep the fly bouyant enough to avoid snagging so many weeds. This floatant can withstand a few casts, especially if applied to fine elk-hair flies, but after 6 casts-or-so, the floatant tends to wash off, so I give this a 4-star even though this is the only floatant I ever apply.
